What are the main activities of TAACC at present

  • Facilitating citizens’ engagement and public accountability forums.
  • Capacity building and empowerment of community / citizens to hold leaders accountable and demand for effective service delivery.
  • Monitoring local government and central government public service delivery through Community Independent Budget Monitors (IBMs) for transparency and accountability
  • Advising and providing legal support to the most vulnerable members of the community / seeking redress through referrals for the person whose rights have been violated.
  • Guidance and counseling to the citizens whose rights have been violated.
  • Providing information and educating to the public on their rights and legal provision on rights.
  • Conducting public expenditure tracking surveys in basic service delivery in the sectors of health, education, water, agriculture, etc.
  • Networking with other stakeholders to demand for accountability and effective service delivery.
